It’s not been too much of a secret around here that I’ve been struggling with motivation lately and that my mojo has been on somewhat of a sabatical in recent months but I am pleased to say that I am feeling loads better.
I have been making sure in the last week that I stop snacking in the office, this is actually for two reasons – one being that I know it’s where the majority of my weight gain has come from over the last few months and the other being that it was also one of the biggest black holes for my money.
It’s been a blessing since I’ve been back on track with my snacking as I’ve really noticed a difference in how I’m feeling daily now, I am nowhere near as tired and sluggish as I have been in the last few months and I have also noticed that looking at my bank account doesn’t give me heart palpatations like it has been doing recently.
Well as it’s officially December now I thought I would add up some of the goals I have set myself to achieve for the month – as I know it’s going to be a difficult month with parties and food galore around the office I am going to give myself some challenges this month to make sure I keep myself on track!
I know I won’t be able to run too much due to the pain in my ankle and achilles but I am hoping to be able to at least do a little running hence why there’s no running goal this month.
1. I have made a budget this month for Christmas presents and personal spends and I am determined to stay within it – could be an issue due to the fact that the dreaded MOT and service is due this month there could be tears when that needs to be paid!
2. Embrace my girly side and enjoy getting dressed up for the Christmas party next week! I’m not an overly girly girl as was always self concious about my size & wouldn’t wear dresses or skirts but with the help of some of my fabulous Twitter buddies like @TheLozzatron I have been shown that I can do girly so I will be putting it into action next week – Look out people!
